DocumentBurster License

DocumentBurster product has several licensing options available. You may choose the one which best fits your needs.

This is the appropriate option if you wish to derive a commercial advantage or if you are creating proprietary applications and you are not prepared to distribute and share the source code of your application under the GPL. In this case you must purchase an appropriate number of commercial licenses from DocumentBurster. Commercial licenses:

• Remove any obligations to release any source code under GPL.
• Give free authorized support directly from the DocumentBurster team.
• Are perpetual and include upgrades to all minor revisions. For example: a 1.0 license includes all publicly 1.x releases including 1.0, 1.1, 1.3, etc.
• Are royalty-free.
• Contribute to the continued development of the product by purchasing commercial licenses from DocumentBurster.

Purchase a commercial license

DocumentBurster supports open source software. This is the appropriate option if you are creating an open source application with a license compatible with the GNU GPL license v3. Open source is based on the principle of Quid Pro Quo - "something for something". If you do your job and you whish to use DocumentBurster for free, we require that you:

• Contribute to the Open Source community by placing your application under an Open Source license (e.g. GPL v3). This option secures all users the rights to obtain the application's full source code, modify it, and redistribute it.

This is the appropriate option if you are interested to include DocumentBurster into your existing software suite or you simply want to commercially re-distribute the program. There are many benefits to partnering with us:

• With an OEM license, your customers would not be required to meet the terms of the GPL license and can use DocumentBurster functionality under your license terms.
• You could offer the only official DocumentBurster-based product in your market.
